Registered Puppies have the guarantee up to 30 months for any Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, PRA-PRCD, RDOSD, EIC, CNM, and Refractory (near sightedness). If any puppy is proven to have any of these diseases, the owner has the option to keep the dog but you must neuter your dog. Most owners have grown attached to their dog and I understand this. I will be happy to give you another puppy out of a similar breeding at your convenience. I strive for the best breeding possible, but as much as I may strive, Mother Nature has her own course and with that being said this means that oddities do happen occasionally. I apologize now if this ever does happen to you. Trust me as much I love these 4-legged Angels on this Earth more so than humans, I will be just as upset if not more, over your dog having anything at all wrong with it.
They love swimming and fetching in the water so much, they jump in during winter. Even their protective side is cute, if someone comes to the door they”ll meet them with a deep, menacing bark even though their tails are wagging.
My Lab is my first dog and I would never have anything else. He makes me smile, is always happy to see me and loves me no matter what. Zeppelin is an incredible Lab and I’d do anything in the world to make him happy and to make sure he feels loved!

I have a blond Labrador, he is just two years of age and called Hermes. I read the article and I agree to everything listed. Also mentioned it (the article i mean) to a beloved friend, who has been breeding and from there I took my beloved Hermes. So, she summed up in two words of my enthusiastic love chatter about Hermes. So simple and so absolutely true words: Is Labrador !!!!!!

It is early Autumn and the lush vegetation of Summer is dying back. The dessicated seed heads of the Hog Weed are slowly being shed and the bracken is turning brown and wizened. Two trusty Black Labradors wait patiently and alert in the rear of their master’s pick-up, anticipating his command, summoning them to work. Nigel Hemming
Customs and Border Protection Agencies often use Labrador retrievers to detect contraband, especially plant and animal products that, if imported into the country, could cause damage to the native ecosystem and economy. If you’re wondering, the beagle—also in the AKC Sporting Group—is the other popular dog breed used by government agencies.
Several early descriptions of the St. John’s water dog exist. In 1822, explorer W.E. Cormack crossed the island of Newfoundland by foot. In his journal he wrote “The dogs are admirably trained as retrievers in fowling, and are otherwise useful…..The smooth or short haired dog is preferred because in frosty weather the long haired kind become encumbered with ice on coming out of the water.”
Created for Lab lovers!
Our retired guide dog is a 19 yr old black Labrador retriever, although well trained she is now pooping and peeing in the house. We tried all the usual things but nothing works. The vets also say there is nothing left for them to do. She has outlived all her litter mates by eight years.

• Confident with very little submissiveness, and mostly alpha “dog leader” tendencies. Can be assertive and pushy if human doesn’t make it clear they are in charge. Independent problem-solvers, they can at times try to out-think their owners.
My Lab was my best friend. She never complained. We lost our battle on Sunday. Maybe it wasn’t a loss because She Nala would never give up. I miss her so much. She overcame a stomach flip and took her out of the hospital where I knew she was not making any progress. Once at home she started recovering (home is important). So 2 years later it was time and the hardest decision I’ve had to make. So love your friend as much as possible. Again I miss my best friend.
The first sightings in Britain of the “St John’s dogs” or “Little Newfoundland dogs” were in the late 18th century. The Newfoundland fishing fleet docked regularly at Poole Harbour in Dorset, with its catch of cod and other fish kept on ice in the hold. One day the 2nd Earl of Malmesbury, an MP and keen sportsman, spotted some of the ships’ dogs retrieving fish that had been thrown out and decided that they were exactly what he needed for his “wildfowling” – duck shooting.
I lost my black lab Daytona to kidney failure. She was a rescue and the center of my world. It happened very quickly and devastated me. My husband and I decided to join a local rescue and adopted our twin, litter mates, Coco and Wonka. I said I could not do black again so we did chocolate. They have filled a huge whole in my heart. No matter how bad a day they are there to love and kiss and nothing comes better than two.
Giving dogs a second chance proved to be a passion for Over Under founders, and they took it upon themselves to continue helping pups in need. That’s why a portion of sales goes to at-risk dogs in the community. The staff takes it one step further by personalizing their donation; they target each customer’s specific area, allowing them to stretch their dollar and aid as far and wide as possible.

Heartworms are foot-long worms that live in the heart, lungs, and major blood vessels of pets. It sounds like something from a horror movie, but worse… it’s a reality. Whilst US dog owners rightly worry about heartworm, this parasite can also infect cats and ferrets, along with wild mammals such as coyotes, wolves, and foxes.
Today, their temperament recommends the Labrador retriever as family pets, since the dogs are outgoing, pleasant and kind. They mature at a relatively late age, which makes them behave like puppies long after most of their counterparts no longer exhibit the same energy levels. Framed Labrador Retriever Art will rarely depict the dog sitting idle, which comes as no surprise given the fact that they burst with energy. They are also famous for their excellent sense of smell, that led military and police forces to use them in missions that involve the tracking of smugglers or prohibited substances.
The breed is used in water rescue/lifesaving. It continues in that role today, along with the Leonberger, Newfoundland and Golden Retriever dogs; they are used at the Italian School of Canine Lifeguard.
Love’s Labradors competes with both the females and the stud labradors to test their soundness, birdiness, steadiness and overall test of time to waterfowl hunting, upland hunting in both flushing and pointing competitions with AKC, HRC and APLA.

I love my chocolate lab Abby whom I’ve had for 10 years. She has traveled with me coast to coast on several occasions. She is the family favorite. Anyone coming home is subject to a very vigorous and joyful greeting…how can anyone live without that? Everymorning I am awakened with a brown furry paw and a wet nose saying “it’s time for breakfast”. My Abby loves food but she loves swimming and running as well…good thing or she would be battling a weight problem. As it is, she is my sweetheart and my life is all the more blessed since she is in my life.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful story. You and your Mum have a special bond that will sustain the two of you through good times and the not so good times. My beloved Ms. Shasta & Mr. Shaq nursed me through a bout of cancer by being there for me. Just seeing their faces each day gave me the strength to make it through the day. Though they have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, they continue to inspire me to carry on. So hugs to you Loki and to your Mum.
